The shared Prosperity Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma in tackling insecurity and ensuring grassroot Governance today, introduces the New proactive and efficient security Initiative, that guarantees the security of lives and properties in the respective communities: The Community Policing Initiative, constituted by the Federal Government and to be implemented by Local Governments.

Governor Hope Uzodimma enlightens the highly esteemed Traditional Rulers on the role of the traditional instituions and their various communities, in collaboration with security agencies ti drive the initiative.

Governor Hope Uzodimma therefore, enjoined the Traditional Rulers who signed as chief security officers of their respective communities to conduct a credible town union election for a town union president to head their respective Community Police.

He Further stressed that the Traditional Rulers and Town Union Presidents will be held responsible for security of their respective communities.

Gov. Uzodimma in his address to the Traditional Rulers also emphasized that an Eze incharge of his community must live in his Community as the era of absentee kingship is over.
