The Enugu state government on Sunday made adjustment on the 24 hours curfew earlier imposed on Enugu-East, Enugu- South and Enugu North local governments of the state.
According to the statement issued by the state Commissioner for information Hon. Nnanyelugo Chidi Aroh the decision by the state government is to cushion the effect of hardship earlier brought by the 24 hours curfew within the past few days, adding that the 13 hours curfew will be effective from 6:pm on Sunday 25th October 2020
The statement therefore indicated that hence forth the curfew will only last for 13 hours daily between 6:pm to 7:am with the exception of people in essential services.
The state law enforcement agencies were then directed to ensure full compliance with the new order.
