The Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) has received a significant boost from the European Union (EU), courtesy of the DCI Group, to enhance its operational efficiency and capabilities.
Chief Military Public Information Officer, MNJTF, N’djamena -Chad Lieutenant Colonel Abdullahi Abubakar revealed this in a statement on Tuesday. the support package includes office IT equipment and furniture, with promises of additional suyin the future.
He said, the support package, handed over to Force Commander Major General Ibrahim Sallau Ali on July 9, 2024, at Farcha, Ndjamena, Chad, includes essential office IT equipment and furniture.
General Ali expressed his gratitude to the European Union for its continued support, acknowledging the crucial role this equipment will play in streamlining operations, improving communication, and enhancing decision-making processes within the task force.
Emmanuel Gastines, Deputy Chief of DCI Group Paris, emphasized that this delivery marks the beginning of a series of supports planned for the MNJTF, including surveillance equipment, specialized training, and quick impact projects aimed at enhancing the task force’s efficiency and effectiveness.
Enugu Reporters gathered that this contribution is part of the European Union’s broader initiative to stabilize the Lake Chad Basin region, demonstrating the EU’s commitment to supporting regional security efforts.
