NASPRI Commandant stresses professionalism, technical expertise in shaping NA’s narrative

The Commandant of the Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information (NASPRI), Lieutenant Colonel Adamu Ngulde, underscored the pivotal role of professionalism and technical skills in crafting the narrative of the Nigerian Army (NA) during the graduation ceremony of the Third Quarter Course 2024.

Held at the school auditorium, the ceremony marked the successful completion of the Warrant Officers Public Relations Management Course, A2 Video Operations Course, and X3 News Reporting Course.

Lieutenant Colonel Ngulde charged the graduating class to leverage their newfound expertise in effective reportage, emphasizing the importance of accurately conveying the Army’s mission and values to diverse stakeholders.

He noted that in today’s visually-driven world, the knowledge acquired by the graduates is crucial in shaping the NA’s narrative, managing public perception, and engaging the media effectively.

The Commandant expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General TA Lagbaja, for his unwavering support to the Directorate of Army Public Relations and NASPRI.

Earlier, Capt Tonye Wenke, Chief Instructor NASPRI, commended the students’ outstanding performance throughout the course.

Distinguished guests in attendance included Major H Emmanuel, representing the Commander, Nigeria Army Cyber Warfare Command; Lieutenant Colonel UA Okeke from the Directorate of Army Physical Training; and Major MM Jafaru from NA Farms and Ranches.

The ceremony culminated in the presentation of certificates to the graduating students and awards to outstanding performers.
