A Vmax petrol station located at the New Oba-Nnewi road in Anambra state is currently on fire.
Report suggests that the fire has spread to Maria Regina axis to Nnewi roundabout.
The cause of the fire has not been confirmed by an official but residents speculate that the fire started from a fuel tanker.
Anambra State fire services and security operatives are currently battling to put out the fire.
Peter Nwosu, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Nupeng Petroleum and Union Matters is also at the scene assuring the residents that the administration of Willie Obiano is committed to protecting the lives and properties of the residents.
