Naval War College embarks on operational tour to boost Inter-Agency cooperation

The Naval War College Nigeria, led by Rear Admiral A. Ahmed, commenced a 5-day operational visit to Lagos State on July 6, 2024, as part of the Naval Warfare Course 8 curriculum.

The team, represented by Deputy Commandant Commodore M. Ide, visited key naval installations, including Headquarters Operation AWATSE, Western Naval Command, and Nigerian Navy Ship BEECROFT, on July 8, 2024.

The visit, themed “Protection of Strategic Maritime Installations through Inter-Agency Cooperation,” aimed to enhance inter-agency collaboration and improve research efforts towards addressing challenges in Nigeria’s maritime domain.

The team was received by Rear Admiral MB Hassan and Commodore RT Oladejo, reinforcing the Nigerian Navy’s commitment to safeguarding the nation’s maritime interests.

This visit is poised to significantly enhance the participants’ research efforts, fostering realistic solutions to Nigeria’s maritime challenges, Enugu Reporters learnt.
