Immediately after attending the Federal Executive Council Meeting (FEC), the Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami FNCS, FBCS, FIIM is for the second day in a row chairing the meeting of the Sub Committee on Citizen Data Harmonization.
It will be recalled that the Citizen Data Management Committee was recently constituted by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR with the Mandate to address all concerns raised by the United States Government with respect to the recent temporary migrant visa restriction placed on Nigeria and five (5) other countries.
The Honourable Minister, Dr Pantami while addressing the gathering reiterated the importance of thinking globally and acting locally stressing the fact that all terrain has its peculiar challenges.
Members of the committee includes; The Central Bank Governor of Nigeria, the Controller General, Nigeria Immigration Service, the Registrar, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Chief Executive Officers of National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Director, Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) among others.
