Nigeria’s Army Chief Lt Gen Tukur Buratai has promoted three soldiers to the next high rank for their display of uncommon gallantry, dedication and commitment to the war against terrorism.
They were all decorated with their new ranks on Sunday the 16th of February 2020 when the Chief of Army Staff and his entourage were on Operational visit to the super camp.
Those promoted are serving at Nigerian Army Super Camp 3 at Buratai in Biu Local Government Area of Borno State.
The affected soldiers were Felix Ugwu who was promoted from the rank of Warrant Officer to Master Warrant Officer, Corporal Kehinde Goban elavated to the rank of Sergeant, while Private Ishaq Yesuf was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal respectively.
Immediately after this exercise, Gen Buratai also had durbar with the troops of the camp where operational issues, administration and welfare among others were discussed.
